I've appreciated the outdoors all of my life. I was blessed to grow up with family and friends that allowed me to hunt, fish, and hike while growing up in Alabama. I've had the opportunity to enjoy many different pieces of land - both public and private. While doing so, I was always eager to look over any available maps. Some of my favorite parts of a hunting trip involve gathering around a map to discuss future hunting plans, tell stories from previous hunts, or be given vague directions for getting to a spot. My goal is help facilitate similar experiences at your favorite hunting lease, lake-house, family camping spot, or state park.

I learned how to use mapping software while earning my degree in Geology from Washington and Lee  University in Lexington, VA. I currently have a full-time job, but I am attempting to turn my enjoyment of maps into a hobby.
